About

Age to AgeWhat is Semester of Service all about?   It's a semester long time for youth to lead, participate in, and celebrate Service-Learning projects that address genuine needs in the community, like hunger, homelessness, violence, literacy, and much more. It's a time for people ages 5-25 to show their communities what they can do to help make a better world.

Semester of Service begins on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in January and ends during Global Youth Service Day in April.  During this time, hundreds of youth throughout Northeastern Minnesota will work with projects, supported by community leaders, teachers, AmeriCorps members, and other caring adults.
